Outdoor electrical outlets are now permitted to be installed in accordance with a new policy that the Fairlington Meadows Board of Directors recently approved. The Board approved an official amendment to the condo association’s Rules of Conduct to allow these installations to take place. The amendment was needed because the Rules of Conduct otherwise prohibit any penetrations to the exterior surface of the buildings.
Owners may request approval by the Board of Directors to install outdoor electrical outlets in their rear patios only. To do so, owners should submit their plans for the installation along with evidence of proper licensing and bonding of the proposed contractor to the Board through our Community Management Corporation property manager, Sabiha Noorzai-Barbour, at SNoorzai@cmc-management.com.
